Ball-it Oy of Finland today released a new version of Blobo SDK: 2.0.
Blobo now supports the widely acclaimed Unity Game Development tool chain.
Other new features include a sophisticated Gesture recognition, Fitness detection, Calorie consumption estimation, and more.
The Unity3D-compatible Blobo SDK is designed for developers to make a start with or a change towards games design with Blobo motion-control fairly easy and straight forward. Existing assets on Unity 3D could be first to move and adopt Blobo motion-control, creating higher interactivity, more precise direct control and thus more immersion and more fun for the players.
Ball-it is currently renewing its web shop (Bloboshop.com) to support easier distribution and monetization for the publishing of all Blobo applications, so a fast track to revenue generation and a direct targeted reach to all Blobo gamers is provided for Blobo developers.
Blobo is starting this year’s Christmas campaign with the Blobo TV Show in Finland – a complete new TV format that pilots in TV4 started on 16.10.2010. This will kickstart consumer awareness for Blobo – and Bloboshop – showing our “motion control for all and anywhere gaming” approach, triggering demand and ultimately help us to drive success for sales of Blobo and your new games and content.
As with previous versions of SDK, support for Win32 native platform is included with DLL library. Unity3D support works for both PC and Mac. The SDK is available here: http://www.ball-it.com/sdkrequest.html |
